These are some hints that you should really read before you start to play Pac-Land or if you get stuck, made by my Dad. To download the game go here.


General hints

At the title screen press F1 for as many credits as you want. Then press either F3 for a single player game or F5 for an alternating 2 player game. While in game you can also pause by pressing F8.

Round 1:

Jump the first two fire hydrants, but wait on the 3rd, (right by it to keep safe)then jump when the car comes along!

Round 2:

Jump the first 3 stumps and wait with your belly hard against the 4th, then when the bad ghosts go, jump! Do the same for the 5th stump.

If there is a clear shot at the yellow glowing ball at the end you MUST go for it because if it really is a clear shot then the nasty ghost will stop you from just running to the end and not getting it.

Round 3:

After the first rolling barrels, a wicked plane come along to bomb you! There are two ways around this horrible plane: be really confident and keep moving over the barrels in quick jumps, then you will be on the tall rocky "chimney stack thingy," JUST in time to jump the plane IF YOUR REALLY QUICK!

Be a baby like me and wait on the logs, if you are lucky you will be able to jump him from there, but it depends which plane you get and how high the log is when you jump!

Round 4:

Just try to go under the first plane (the high one) and OVER the low ones! Don't try and jump the ghosts unless you are getting really good!

Round 5:

As in round one, jump the first two fire hydrants, but just before the 3rd one STOP and walk a bit until the car comes, then jump it BEFORE the fire hydrant. I use that technique quite a lot all the way through level 5!

Round 6:

USE THE KEY BOARD ONLY, never the joystick! You must press the jump button twice then the P button repeatedly to master this. I put the keyboard on my knee to do the 3rd jump, but be very very quick with the P button! It IS possible to get through round 6 without losing a life, honest!

Round 7:

You can usually just run and jump for a few jumps, but try and anticipate where the wicked fish is going to go next. He WILL try and anticipate your jumping! Wait and be a little patient until he has committed himself, then very soon after he has jumped, run and jump to the next stage and so on!

Round 8:

This is remarkably easy considering! If you can do round 4 then you can do this, with a little more practice! Again just "float" under the first plane, (small jumps not too high, try and ignore the apples until you are well practiced!) Then jump over the low plane, and so on! You can jump the very low ghost at the end if you want!
