2:10 PM 01/01/2012 - Happy New Year! or whatever...

Happy New Year to anyone that celebrates it! If you're like me and don't really care that much about a date changing then I hope you have a good extra day off (if you get one)! Last year was full of too much stuff... as you can tell from my blog post back in December listing all of the major things that happened. I want this year to be more relaxed, yet I doubt it will be - especially if we end up buying a car. Learning to drive is tough and scarey. I don't like it. But I have to do it and get over the hump I guess... driving should be a mandatory lesson in school.

Today I'm going to visit relatives of AJ's. My family lives in England, so every holiday/celebration we end up spending with AJ's family. I need to get my parents to come over for Christmas one year, but they don't want to brave the minus 40c weather. This year was really good to us so far though! It was around zero on Christmas! No snow though :( When there is no snow at Christmas it makes me sad :( I am lucky to have it for most of winter though I guess.

I had a pretty cool break overall. I saw both Sherlock Holmes 2 and Mission Impossible 4 in the movies. Mission Impossible 4 was pretty awesome, it surprised me. It's even up there with Die Hard 4 when it comes to crazy action scenes. Talking of crazy action scenes - I hate it when people watch an action movie then complain that it wasn't realistic. If it was realistic it would be boring. I don't want to see someone jump 100ft in a car, nose-down, and die. I want to see them survive and have some goofy saying afterwards like "Is the circus in town?".

I went to go spend some gift vouchers that I got for American Eagle Outfitters last week and I was surprised at how hard it was to find things to spend it on. Most of the stuff is very similar. I ended up with a plaid shirt, striped hoody, jeans, belt and necklace. The jeans are tough to get into... I'm still not completely comfortable in them and I've been wearing them every day to try and wear them. Shopping for jeans sucks! Same with shoes! Nothing every fits properly... you have to be size 00 or 1 to have anything fit apparently because thats all the sizes that are always on the shelves.
